WHAT escapes? you may well ask. Well, the subject of hamster escapes has interested me for a while now and, as time has passed, I’ve gradually amassed newspaper cuttings featuring extraordinary tales of hamsters whose tremendous travelling spirit and sense of derring-do has saved them from desperate calamity. Here are a few of my favourites, who have certainly earned their place on a website about quirky and offbeat travel – but let’s not stop here. I’d like to throw this page open to everyone who visits this site.
